About this Tool
cURL to Code is a robust syntax translation engine that ingests standard cURL CLI commands and compiles them into executable, idiomatically correct HTTP request blocks across various modern programming languages, including Python, JavaScript (Fetch/Axios), Go, and Rust.
How It Works
The converter utilizes an abstract syntax tree (AST) approach to parse the cURL string. It tokenizes flags (`-H`, `-d`, `-X`, etc.), extracts headers into key-value maps, identifies the HTTP method, and captures the request body. These structured tokens are then injected into language-specific templates.
How to Use
- Copy a cURL command from your browser's network inspector (Copy as cURL).
- Paste the raw command into the source editor.
- Select your target language or framework from the dropdown menu to immediately output the corresponding source code.
Examples
Basic GET Request
Fetching JSON data with a Bearer token.
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer xyz" https://api.example.com/dataPOST with JSON Payload
Transmitting a serialized JSON payload.
curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"key":"value"}' https://api.example.com/submitTechnical Notes

- Complex multipart form-data (`-F`) commands are parsed into their respective language's native FormData objects where applicable.
- Commands provided to this tool are parsed purely for syntax generation; the HTTP requests themselves are NOT executed by the browser or server.
